Dibami Kemajou Hits 4 Against Gazelle Garoua
A second half hat trick from now New Stars of Douala leading scorer this season Dibami Kemajou Junior, 23 has given 2017 winners of the Cup of Cameroon,New Stars of Douala a comfortable 4-1 win over North Regional League side Gazelle of Garoua this Wednesday in a 2019 Cup of Cameroon 32nd final clash in Bertoua.
Gazelle kept it tight in thr first half despite conceding a 3rd minute goal from Kemajou as both sides retired into the changing room with New Stars leading by just a goal to nil in an interesting cup clash.
New Stars with an understrength side return for the second half in a no mercy mood with Kemajou simply unstoppable.
His 57th minutes goal was followed by another a minute later as New Stars race into a 3 nil lead by the 58th minutes before the big former Botafogo man completed his hat trick in 30 second half minute by scoring again in the 78th minutes to secure the result for New Stars.
The former Botafogo striker who only made his came back from an injury leave caused by a muscle injury against Fovu will again by forced off by an injury in the 79th minute of the game.
Gazelle pull one goal back from the penalty spot in the 83rd minutes but couldn’t mount a come back as the 2012 finalist and winners in 2017 booked their place into the next round of the 2019 National Challenge Cup.
Kemajou has been on the score sheet on 7 ocassions this season,New Stars leading scorers but the club will have to wait for data concerning his injury to know the kind of contribution Kemajou can make in the the all important relegation playoffs derby clash with unbeaten Union Sportive Douala in Limbe.
