Former West Ham United forward Diafra Sakho who had been without a club since his departure from Rennes in December 2019, will now continue his career in the Swiss Super League.
The 30-year-old Senegalese international has joint Neuchâtel Xamax till the end of the 2019-2020 season.
The native of Guédiawaye, Senegal, has been attributed the number 67 Jersey at the Swiss club.
The former Metz forward expressed his joy for joining the Swiss club and hopes to use his experience to help the Swiss outfit attain its objectives.
“I am happy to be at Neuchâtel and I hope that I could share my little experience with my teammates and help the club to attain its objectives this end of season,” Sakho told the club’s official website.
“If in addition I can help the team to score a few goals, then it will be a win-win relationship.”
Currently, 9th on the league table, Neuchâtel are battling to beat the drop from the Swiss top flight.
