French Tabloid “L’Equipe” is reporting 24 year old Cameroonian Born Midfielder, Adrien Tameze has turn down an offer to move from OGC Nice to Cardiff City which could have seen the French club cash in 9 Million Euros.
The popular French Daily says the two clubs have agreed on the above mentioned but the player wants to stay at the Allianz Reviera because of his desire to learn more from his current boss and former French International, Patrick Vieira.
Vierra was a midfielder for the French national team in his playing days and can be a good mentor to young Tameze.
The midfielder joined Nice at the age of 23. In the last 12 months he has become and important part of the club being an ever performant player in Vieira’s team.
Tameze’s decision is a good example for many young players need to follow as early moves to more exposed League have not worked out well for many young players.
Seems like Century ago since Ghanaian striker,Dominic Addiyah took the world by storm with his performances for the Junior national selection of Ghana, same scenario for Njie Clinton in his early days for Cameroon, same case with Kelechi Promise Iheanacho.
An early move to a big club made ”the clean Clinton dull” in Spurs colours while Dominic failed to dominate at AC Milan and Promise has never Fulfilled the promise of the being next Nigerian Superstar as displayed in his early performance for country all because he arguably moved to Manchester City too early.
Despite this reports also have it that Cardiff City remains keen on getting the young lad on board as they battle for more bodies to come in and sustain their Premier League life.
