Former Union Sportive of Douala head coach and current deputy coach of the intermediate Lions of Cameroon Agbor Ernest Ako has told kick442.com that,he has held talks with Limbe Football club Association(LIFCA) amongst other clubs but is still to put pen to paper with any club.
One time head Coach another Limbe side,Njalla Quan Sports Academy, however hinted there is an 80% chance he joins the club run by the Limbe City Council,LIFCA, especially following a meeting with the club’s administration on Wednesday in Limbe but insisted he has talked terms to handle the regional Championship club as a manager who works in close collaboration with a team Coaches and not as an outright head Coach.
“Our discussions were not just on the short term vision which everybody understands is taking a club from the Region to the elite competitions,we have talked about building a base for the from the under 15 and to pay attention on the development of Young players from that age group especially those who can’t get a chance to enrol in reputable Football Academies in and out of the country.”
kick442.com understands Agbor Ernest will occupy a role at the club if or when he signs a contract in the days ahead but will want play the role of a manager around a battery of coaches including Joseph Ekokobe one time player with multiple clubs in the South West Region including Tiko United and Elecsport Limbe.
LIFCA had a name change from Saint Peters to LIFCA in the eve of the 2018 Football season and the amateur but ambitious club is considered to be one of the few clubs with least financial issues and so hiring a high profile Tactician like the German trained Agbor Ernest may not be much of a headache to the institution.
Coach Agbor is in a long lists of former PWD of Bamenda players now making a career in coaching alongside the like of Jean Baptiste Toguem,Wamba Petit Michel,Ashu Cyprain Bessong,Jean Black Ngody amongst others.
