18 year old “Wonderkid” Moise Sangolo Sakava may have played his last game for Cotonsport of Garoua on the 22nd of December 2018 against Egyptian side,Ismaily.

Sources close to the player have told that the young product of the Cotonsport of Garoua academy has reached an agreement in Principle with French Ligue un club,Reims and he will join the club on a 5 year deal in the days ahead.

The former captain of Cameroon’s under 17 Lions in 2017 and current Midfielder for the Under 20 National selection has displayed his usual brilliance this season. Everytime he has been involved he has had an impact especially in the 3-1 win over Bobo Dioulaso in Yaounde.

Sakava won the Cameroon league one title last season with Cotonsport of Garoua, in a season which also saw him win the players player of the Month award in the month of March.


Sakava was spotted at the Military stadium in Yaounde last Sunday but he didn’t participate in Cotonsport’s game against Asante Kotoko.After the game his head coach, Ebwelle Bertin declined to comment about his future.

Our sources say,Sakava will leave Cameroon today for France where he will finalize paper works and undergo his medical before signing a 5 year deal.A move to Reims will see him link up with another young Cameroonian Talent in Patrick Bahanag.

Late last season,Marius Mouandilmadji another young genuis in the 2018 title winning season left Cotonsport to join FC Porto on a 5 year deal.Marius has scored in his senior debut and has netted 4 times for Porto B.
Marius and Sakava combined to get the Marius goal that gave Cotonsport a 1 nil win over Union Sportive Douala last season in Limbe.
