David Okereke came off the bench to score the winning goal for his Belgian Jupiler League side, Club Brugge in their 1-0 win against St. Truiden on Saturday, www.kick442.com reports.
After a goalless first half, Club Brugge coach, Philippe Clement introduced David Okereke in the 54th minute.
Making his 10th league appearance of the season, Okereke replaced fellow Nigerian, Emmanuel Dennis in the second half and found the net in less than three minutes after coming on at the Jan Breydelstadion (Brugge).
The goal was David Okereke’s second league goal for Club Brugge after scoring his first in their 4-1 win over Waasland-Beveren on September 12, 2020.
The victory lifts Club Brugge to the top of the Belgian Jupiler League with 30 points in 15 games.
Club Brugge’s next game is against the Italian side, Lazio in the UEFA Champions League on December 8, 2020.
