Barely weeks after the end of the 2019-2020 Cameroon Elite One football season, kick442.com has gathered that Cameroon Elite One side, Fovu of Baham have agreed a deal to sign David Lee Kokolome from Panthère of Nde, kick442.com can exclusively report.

The 24-year-old forward has decided to end his three-year stay with the Nzui Manto and joins Fovu on a one-year-deal from July 1st, for an undisclosed fee.

He becomes the club’s first of the summer signing awaiting registration.

Kokolome scored three goals in the just-ended season in Elite One, adding to the seven he scored in the 2018-2019 Elite One promotion season for Panthère of Nde.

The forward whose career began at Alliance FC in the East Regional Championship has been invited to camp with the Under-17 and Intermediate selections of Cameroon in the past.

His addition to a Fovu team that ended the season on the 8th spot but was clearly lacking in attacking sense is a major boaster to the squad going forward.

It is Kokolome’s second top-flight club in Cameroon.

The erstwhile West Regional League player of the season will resume training with the club once pre-season activities for the 2020-2021 season begins.
