The football family in Cameroon is mourning the death of 30-year-old Littoral-based assistant Referee,Dassi Niba Romain who died this Thursday following a brief illness.

Born in Njombe on the 22nd 1989 Dassi joined the refereeing core in his early age and was part the Littoral fraternity of it until the start of the 2017-2018.

The passionate Sports person and referee was forced out of his passion by throat problems which affected his ability to eat and speak until he underwent an operation last November.

He was also a student before his death. His early exit has left friends and family members in total shock as they mourn him.
