Earlier this week, Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Vandrezzer FC stated that the duo of Kolawole Daniel and David Mark remains its players despite pictures of both players training with newly promoted Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC).
Another twist to the story is that Gidado FC has claimed the players as bonafide members of the team on loan at Vandrezzer FC.
In a release by Legal Personnel to Gidado FC, Ayodeji Akerele, the Club lay bare its stand on the issue below:
There is a need to clear the air on the falsehood news being spread on all social / news media on the ownership of Daniel Kolawole and David Oguntunde Mark.
Contrary to the lies been peddle by Vandrezzer FC, the above-mentioned players have always been players of Gidado Football Club with historical grassroots playing development, and Not Vandrezzer FC has it been alleged.
For a record, Gidado Football Club has always been in the business of loaning its players to Nigeria National League Team such as Osun united, Tornados, Giant Brilla, Ekiti United, and Kebbi United e.t.c for further development and exposure without collecting a dime on any of its players because our purpose and aim is to develop players and give exposure in any means for them to be marketable to NPFL side and Europe at large. In the year 2017/2018 NNL season the aforementioned players were part of five players that were loan to Osun united FC and they were duly registered and play for the team. The evidence are there for anybody who cares to know. Eventually, when the season ends those players return to Gidado FC.
In the same way, as those players were loan to Vandrezzer Football Club specifically for the 2019-2021 football season. To our surprise, Vandrezzer mischievously force our players to a bogus/illegal contract with their club completely without the knowledge of the parent club of the players (Gidado FC) or any of Gidado representatives or the player agent/intermediaries/witnesses which by the rule of Football transfer of players, the law of contract and goodwill in business is null and void and an attempt was made to reach our to Vandrezzer FC G.M in the person of Alh. Fatai Oloyinka and denied the issue of the contract and said it was the league form that those boys sign and our initial loan agreement is still intact and valid and if there is any new update regarding the permanent transfer of the players Vandrezzer FC will write Gidado officially. While digging deep more on the issue when other club players that sign contracts with Vandrezzer FC were paid some certain amount for their clearance Gidado Football Club Never collect a dime on any of its players’ economic rights (David & Daniel).
It is upon this falsehood and bogus/illegal contract that Vandrezzer FC are trying to claim ownership of the players this is contrary to FIFA ethics on ownership and transfer of a professional football player and is criminal.
To our surprise, we saw a press release statement where Vandrezzer FC referring to Gidado FC as a third party individual regarding Kolawole Daniel and David Oguntunde Mark who has always been bonafide players of Gidado Football Club and was released on loan to Vandrezzer FC.
Hence, if Vandrezzer FC is insisting on having the economic right of these players they should show the world proved of how they exclusively scouted and developed these players from the grassroots with other clubs and academy involves in their Amateur/Professional playing career.
It quite unfortunate and ridiculous in the light of all the above aforementioned which we have many prove off that Vandrezzer Football Club will want to bring in shooting Star Football Club of Ibadan into their wicked, evil ordeal and criminal narrative story of player ownership, and referring Gidado FC as a third party individual in the ownership of (Daniel and David) which does not exist.
Shooting Star of Ibadan is quite obsolete of this issue outrightly, Vandrezzer FC known who to direct their speech to on the issue at hand they are scary and novice to hold the bone by the horn.
More so if truly Vandrezzer Football Club owned the right of those players as they have alleged the Management Gidado Football Club hereby called out the management of Vandrezzer FC team led by Alh. Fatai Olayinka (GM) Kingsley Ogbonna (COO) and Philip to bring valid proof of what amount was paid for the economic right of those players or any MOU/Agreement with a dotted line that both parties sign on with the witness which is biding in law.
Furthermore, spreading falsehood advert on social media and having hundreds or thousands of followers does not run a professional football club in Nigeria or elsewhere in the world, Professional Football Club is run by the expert that knows how the do and don’t of FIFA rule stand in Football Business.
Having said all these if Vandrezzer Football Club still insists on ownership of those players (David and Daniel) we will be glad to meet each other at an appropriate quarter and put to bed the true status of the ownership of the above mentioned professional football player with concrete evidence to buttress each other point.
We advise they should stop misinforming the public and stop harassing our players with their falsehood news of ownership of the right of those players on their social media handle.
Gidado is not a social media club but we are constituted by intellectual repute that knows the rules and regulations of football ethics and we are always ready to play by the rules.
