Teenage Cameroonian forward Daniel Barel Fotso Tuente, 18,has agreed a five-year-deal to join Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb.
His switch from AS Roma to the Croatian capital this Wednesday confirms earlier Kick442.com reports of a possible move.
The new deal is the Under 17 Lions first professional contract and ends his three years stay in Rome on the books of AS Roma.
Fotso joined Roma in 2017 and established himself as a regular goal scorer with different youth categories of the club but didn’t have a chance to show his skills with the first team despite his output and been called up to the Cameroon Under-17 team for the 2019 Under 17 FIFA World Cup preparations in Brazil.
Fotso was not included in Cameroon’s squad for the tournament but he returned to the Rome and kept scoring goals.
He joins Cameroonian born, Switzerland international François Moubandje who has been at the club since last year and adds his names to that of a few Cameroonians to have played for the club amongst which is Mathias Chago.
It is the second professional club to host the Douala born “goal machine”.
Barel is eligible to represent Italy though he has featured and scored for Cameroon in an international friendly with the Under-17 Lions.
