Danger for Cameroon: Stade Renard of Melong is still to leave for the DRC

The 2019 Cup of Cameroon winners have to represent Cameroon in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round but have experienced multiple set backs since leaving their base for Douala where they are expected to board for the Kinshasa-DRC.
There have been been media reports that the club is facing difficulties to pre-finance the trip but club captain Nkuissi Thomas Legrand simply declined commenting on that this Saturday morning.
“We are at Hotel De Rail in Douala, we are not involved in the administrative part of it, but we are informed that we have issues about the availability of the flight” Nkuissi stated
The delegation is expected to leave Cameroon this Saturday for Kinshasa.
Stade of Melong face DC Motema Pembe this Sunday at the Stade de Martyrs in Kinshasa. The game is the first leg of the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup preliminary before the return leg in a fortnight at the Ngeme Stadium in Limbe.
