Rangers FC Bafut, SIMAF FA Mbengwi, Foncha Street FC and Santos FC have secured their ticket for the semi finals of the preliminaries of the cup of Cameroon for the North West Region.
The four teams grabbed their semi finals ticket after quarter finals matches played Wednesday May 8th 2019.
Playing at the CCM Field in Bamendakwe, Rangers FC Bafut defeated Universal Soccer Academy FC by one goal to nil. The lone goal of the match was scored at the 43rd minute of play by Genesis Suh Neba after a poor defensive error from the defenders of Universal Soccer Academy.
In the second match at the CCM Field Bamendakwe, cup of Cameroon winners in the year 2000 was eliminated by Santos FC two goals to one. It should be noted that Kumbo Strikers qualified to the semi finals after emerging as best losers at the quarter finals.
In the other two quarter finals matches played at the C.B.C field Mile 3 Nkwen, SIMAF FA Mbengwi picked up their qualification ticket to the semi finals ticket against Grassland FC thanks to a Bahazah Go-ah goal in the first half of the match.
In the second match, last year mini interpools finalists, Foncha Street FC played a three all tie with Bafmeng United in a six goals trailer watched by over 300 supporters with Foncha Street FC going through 4#1 after post match penalties.
Rangers FC of Bafut, Santos FC, SIMAF FA and Foncha Street FC will take part in the semi finals draws programmed for Thursday May 9th at 10:00am at the North West FECAFOOT Secretariat in Bamenda.
