33 year old former Aston Villa and Bolton defender Gary James Cahill has left Chelsea to join Crystal Palace after seven years at Chelsea FC.
Cahill joint Chelsea in 2012 from Bolton and succeeded John Terry as the club’s captain. He made 191 league appearances for them scoring 13 goals.
He won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups, one League Cup, the UEFA Champions League and two UEFA Europa League trophies with Chelsea.
The 2008-2009 season’s Bolton Wanderers Players’ Player of the year has also represented England 61 times at senior level, before putting an end to his international career in August 2018.
He joins Jordan Ayew and Stephen Henderson who have also made the move to Selhurst Park this summer.
