As the world battles the epidemic of corona virus, sports personalities, footballers especially have in one way or the other lent hands of help to those ravaged by the virus.
The elderly who are reported to be more susceptible to the virus are apparent need of help.
Consequently, Tottenham Hotspur’s manager Jose Mourinho has lent a hand to the aged in Enfield.
The special one in this special gesture, delivered essential goods to the elderly.
The Tottenham boss is reported to have worked alongside Age UK and Love Your DoorSteps in Enfield, near Spurs’ training ground, in preparing food parcels and other items for delivery to the more vulnerable members of the community.
”I am here to help Age UK Enfield, Love Your DoorStep Enfield and of course you can donate food, money or be a volunteer,’ Mourinho said on a video posted by Love Your DoorStep’s Twitter account.
According to dailymail, The charity has been delivering essential goods to elderly members of society who have been advised to stay in quarantine for the next 12 weeks.
Tottenham players like Toby Alderweireld is also doing his bit to help the current situation around him.
He is donating electronic tablets to hospitals in order to help sick people keep in contact with their family and friends.
Jose and Tobi join other managers and players like Robert Lewandoski, Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronlado and Pep Quadiola who have also provide relief in one way or the other to those affected.
