Former Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel has reached out to some poor households in Nigeria at this time of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The Nigrian ex- international brought succour to some households who aee struggling to feed especially with the lockdown in some parts of the country for almost three weeks.
The versatile midfielder took to his Instagram page to announce the distribution of 1800 crates of eggs to support poor households in Nigeria.
“Helping people to survive in this difficult time, my team today distributed 1800 cases of fresh eggs to some of the poorest areas in NGA close to the farm”
Sports personalities have continued to lend a helping hand since the outbreak of the virus in order to cushion the devastating effect of the virus.
Support has come in monetary, material and service form while helping governments, health institutions and individuals in this vein.
