Cameroon Women’s First Division Clubs will receive the highest earnings of FIFA’s Covid-19 relief funds as per FECAFOOT distribution scheme made public at the end of a Press Conference in Yaoundé, July 16,2020.
Seven categories are involved in the distribution, including the men’s and women’s division one and two clubs, and the amateur championships.
The Women’s top tier clubs will receive 5,5million FCFA per club while the second division clubs will earn 1,5 million FCFA.
The men’s Elite one and two clubs are set to receive 3.5 million FCFA and 1,5million CFA per club respectively. The amateur championships which includes regional league clubs and youth football shall benefit from 500,000FCFA and and 50,000 FCFA in that order.
FECAFOOT revealed there will be total transparency with the distribution of the 1.5 million dollars fund received from FIFA but emphazized that not all will be given away to clubs.

Consequently, 85 percent of the money received by Cameroon FA will be distributed amongst clubs, and 15 percent into other aspects FECAFOOT deems necessary to add value.
FIFA guidelines on how the funds should be used, states that it can be useful for the restart of competitions; purchase of sanitary kits, improvement of football infrastructures, amongst others.
Cameroon domestic League is getting set to restart by September for the men’s and November for the Women. The domestic Championships were halted in March amid threats from Covid-19 and abandoned in May.

1) Professional football Clubs
-Elite One: 3.5 million FCFA per club
-Elite Two: 1.5 million FCFA per club
2) Amateur football Clubs
– Regional Leagues Clubs: 500,000 FCFA per club
– Departmental Leagues Clubs: 100 thousand FCFA per club
– Youth football clubs: 50,000 FCFA per club.
3) Women’s Division one football
-Clubs : 5.5 million FCFA per club
-Division two clubs: 1.5 million FCFA per club.
