In preparation for the start of the 2020/2021 regional and amateur championships in Cameroon, Regional and amateur clubs will from Tuesday December 1, 2020, start receiving the FIFA Covid-19 Funds. This information is contained in a Press Release issued by the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT.
The regional and amateur championships organised by FECAFOOT was abruptly cancelled in May due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The distribution exercise will begin on Tuesday December 1, 2020, with affiliated clubs of the Centre region for the 2019/2020 football season and those of the Littoral region will follow on December 3.
The calendar for distribution in the other regions will be made public.
Regional League Clubs are expected to receive 500,000 FCFA per club, Departmental League Clubs will each receive 100 thousand FCFA and Youth football clubs shall receive 50,000 FCFA per club.
