Bamboutos FC of Mbouda will face Cotonsport of Garoua this Thursday without 22-year old intermediate Lions forward Pange Lobe.

The speedy winger was sent off for his post match antics last Sunday in a virgin draw against PWD in Bamenda.

Pange approached the match officials at full-time and got himself in trouble for offensive comments directed towards the match officials.

Referee Elouga Bikim immediately reached out for a red card and brandish it towards the forward. The red puts him out of the traveling party to Garoua.

Bamboutos FC of Mbouda have a mountain to climb up North, especially giving Cotonsport of Garoua has been one of the must dreaded home side this season. Bamboutos can look out for inspiration from a strange victory by Dragon Yaounde and a draw for Feutcheu FC in Yaounde as a source of motivation to the boys of coach Laurent Djam.

Both sides go into this fixture with supporters expectations of nothing less than win.

Bamboutos FC of Mbouda is on a run of three games without a win and just 1 point from those games while Cotonsport are fresh from an unacceptable 3 nil defeat to Canon Yaounde and have picked up just a point in the last league two games.

The absence of Pange, scorer of 3 goals and provider of 6 assists this season is a major blow for the Manga Boys though they have a squad gifted with multiple options.

The game is a must win for coach Laurent Djam of Bamboutos as reports of his possible departure from the club keep circulating amongst club’s diehards.

His colleague coach Ndoumbe Bosso of Cotonsport of Garoua is not on a comfortable seat either.
