15 times champions of Cameroon Cotonsport of Garoua have had their first practice session at the home of their opponents, Stade de Kegue in Lome – Togo ahead of their CAF Confederation cup first-leg preliminary round game against Unisport of Sokode on Sunday.
The Cameroon Club led by coach Souleymanou Aboubakar trained for just over an hour as part of their recognizance session for their first CAF interclub competitions appearance in two years.
Coach Souleymanou Aboubakar has traveled with an 18-man squad comprising of two goalkeepers and 16 in-field players.
Sunday’s game at the Stade Kague in Lome Togo will be the first fixture between both sides.
It is an opportunity for Cotonsport to launch her quest to return to the group stage of the CAF interclub competitions after a three year absence.
The return game is scheduled for December 6 at the Roumde Adja Stadium in Garoua.
