14 times champions of Cameroon Cotonsport of Garoua have resumed training and other aspects of preparation ahead of the new football season in Cameroon.

The 2019 vice champions of Cameroon resumed work this Monday with a good number of graduates from the Academy and some of the players who were at the club last season.

Amongst the players who were at the club last season, Serge Seko, Ahmamou Yaya,Ngweni Ndasi, Wanzou,Zacharie Ndongo Foe, Francis Elimbi, Beadoum, Serge Andoulo, Moussa Kalamoun, Djoubairou and Mahamat Haroun were notably absent.

kick442.com understands Djoubairou and Mahamat Haroun will likely leave the club on loan, for the other players their future is uncertain with the only certainty being that over 80% of the above mentioned names will leave the club.

A source at the club tells us a good number of youths from the club’s Academy will be promoted to the first team this season as the club looks to build a great team that can hit its peak between the 2 to 4 years.

Cotonsport narrowly missed out of their 16th League title last term and are completely out of the CAF club competitions this season with coach Ndoumbe Bosso expected to guide the new squad back into the Champions League or CAF Confederation Cup next season.
