Legendary Cameroon outfit Cotonsport of Garoua have included all six Cameroon international who participated in the 2020 African nations Championship in their squad of players to leave Cameroon for Niger this week for the game against AS Sonidep.
Defenders; Banga Solomon Charles, Ngombe Etame, Hassana Mamadou, plus midfielders Thierry Tchuente, Felix Oukine and goalkeeper Narcisse Nlend Junior have all been included in the squad for the February 14 appointment.
It is a senior Cotonsport squad traveling to Niger as Cameroon internationals awaiting debut Herve Ngomo, Etta Bawak and Anye Derick also make the cut for the first leg of the decisive tie.
Banga skippered Cameroon to a fourth place finish in the just-ended African nations championship in Cameroon featuring in every game just like Hassana and Oukine while Tchuente settled for two starts and Etame featured in four of Cameroon’s five games as a starter.
Cotonsport will face AS Sonidep in Niamey on February 14th and play the return game in Garoua a week later with the winners on aggregate to earn a spot in the group stage of 2020-2021 CAF Confederation cup.
