15 times champions of Cameroon Cotonsport of Garoua have returned to the country after their 2020-2021 CAF Confederation cup first-leg preliminary round win away against Togolese side Unisport of Sokode last Sunday.
The boys of coach Souleymanou Aboubakar left Lome-Togo this Tuesday, transit in Abidjan-Ivory Coast before arriving Cameroon.
They touched down on home soil at 23:30 local time and completed formalities plus other items on their iterinary before leaving for Garoua almost immediately.
Sunday’s goals from Guime Araina and Marou Souaibou has put Cotonsport in a very good position ahead of the return game on Sunday at the Roumde Adja stadium in Garoua.
Cotonsport are hoping to be in Garoua by Wednesday evening.
The team will train from Thursday till match-day hoping to complete a double over the competition debutant Unisport.
