It is time for the so called under dogs as Mozambique shocks Zambia while Namibia defeats Angola to reach the 2020 COSAFA U20 Championship holding in South Africa.

The defending champions, Zambia could not ride over 10-man Mozambique in the semi final clash in Nelson Mandela Bay on Friday.

After a goalless affair, Mozambique triumph via penalties (5-4) to move to its first final and qualify for the 2021 U20 African Cup of Nations taking place in Mauritania.

Namibia also progresses to it first final and qualify for next year’s AFCON ensuring there will be a new winner of the U20 COSAFA Championship.

Namibia’s Captain, Steven Damaseb’s goal in the 62nd minutes takes the African country to Sunday’s final at the Nelson Mandela Stadium.

The third place encounter between Angola and Zambia comes up on Sunday a couple of hours before the final.
