Players of Caiman Filles Douala have received relief materials from the Samuel Eto’o Foundation as part of support to Cameroonian footballers.
The relief packages include food items, soap, sanitizers and protective equipments.
About 1,000 players of the men and women first and second division clubs are expected to benefit from the same gesture.
The Cameroonian football legend intends to help 50,000 homes in Douala, Buea, Baffousam and Yaoundé. He also issued out 50,000 protective mask to taxi drivers as part of his campaign to help his compatriots.
The Samuel Eto’o Foundation was created in March 2006. It is a non-profit organization operating mainly in West Africa. Their goal is to protect children and young people, as well as providing emergency aid and encouraging education, basic health and social inclusion for the disadvantaged in order to help them create opportunities for the future.
