After H.E the head of government, P.M Chief Joseph Dion Ngutte entertained the Volleyball Lionesses Wednesday, this Thursday two times triple jump Olympic Gold Medalist Françoise Bango has visited the girls of Jean Rene Akono.
Bango was received by the team in the Yaounde multipurpose sports complex where the team trains twice daily in preparation for the Continental Olympic Qualification Tournaments to take place in Brazil later this year.

There were two training sessions on Thursday at 10 to 12 am in the morning and 4 to 6 pm in the evening but the 42 year old record woman gave an extra touch to the second session by simply watching it after a chat with the newly crowned African Volleyball Queens.

The Volleyball Lionesses of Cameroon are still basking in glory with a second star added on their Jerseys after winning the AWVC in Egypt on Sunday July 14, 2019.
The ladies of coach Jean Rene Akono would be making it to only their second Olympic participation if they qualify. Their first and only qualification coming in 2016, as they ended bottom in group A and 11 out of 12 only behind Puerto Rico in what was a disastrous campaign.

With the two times African champions being giving the recognition they deserve this time, a qualification ticket and a good campaign seems to be the handwriting in the clouds.
