There has been rising tension amongst the players and management of Elmina Sharks over players April Salaries.
There were agitations amongst the players over suspected 65% pay cut in their April Salaries which went viral earlier this Month.
The players believed they were not fairly treated since there wasn’t any communication before such decision were arrived at .
Reacting to the claim, the communication’s team member of the side, Sedinam said, it’s never true the club has cut the salaries of the players rather, it was a fault that they had with their payment system and it would be ratified soon.
However, earlier today, the general manager of the team confided in Kesben TV and GFA Exco member ‘Fred Achee’ that they reduced the players salaries by 50% as pay cut but not 65% as being speculated in the media.
Clubs including Asante Kotoko have agreed on player pay cut due to the outbreak of the novel pandemic, Covid-19.
