Ajax goal-guard Andre Onana has kept his word and sent a signed goalkeeping kit alongside gloves to wannabe Ghanaian inmate Arhin Aboagye.
Andre Onana, the best goalkeeper on the continent as voted in the 2019 CAF Awards was touched when he went through a documentary of a certain Arhin Aboagye trying to relaunch his career at the Nsawam prison.
‘Onana is my model. I like his skills. I am inspired by his gestures on the ground,’ were the words of Arhin, little did he know he was going to get an unprecedented reply: ‘keep your head high Archin, I will send you my signed jersey and a pair of gloves. I hope to see you stop other penalties soon with,” the goalie replied.
As promised by the Cameroon international, a signed kit and a pair of gloves has been sent, and confirmed by head of sports at TV3, Michael Oti Adjei via a tweet that reads “thank you @AndreyOnana.”

Arhin Aboagye is yet to comment after receiving his gifts from the man he holds with high esteem.
