On Thursday, October 10, 8 African countries were on show in the ongoing second slot of the international Friendlies.

The teams that played on Thursday, are: Senegal, DR Congo, Congo Brazzaville, Cape Verde, Togo, Gabon, Burkina Faso and Algeria.

Senegalese players battle for position with Neymar, in their 1#1 tie against Brazil.

Brazil 1-1 Senegal

Thailand 1-1 Congo

Togo 1-2 Cape Verde

Gabon 1-0 Burkina Faso

Algeria 1-1 DR Congo

The tables were turned for the good and bad reasons with the outcome of the games. The Teranga Lions of Senegal picked up arguably the best result with a one all tie against Brazil, while AFCON holders Algeria were pecked back by DR Congo in their one all draw.

The friendlies are going to affect the general FIFA ranking for the month of November.
