A good number of Players of Cameroon Elite One outfit Colombe of Dja and Lobo are back in training in preparations for the upcoming season.
It was a near full house for coach Jules Abah Onana this Tuesday morning at the Amougou Nouma bare ground pitch in Yaounde with intermediate Lions trio Richard Ebanda, Mani Bertrand and Club skipper Man Ykre all present in training.
The trio are fresh from helping Cameroon to a fourth place finish in the just ended African nations championship on home soil.
Coach Abah’s team are preparing for the 2020-2021 whose kick off has been delayed by a catalogue of reasons but remain optimistic about a possible resumption of the championship within a month.
Colombe achieved a record third place finish in the championship during the previous season and fans expect the upcoming season to be even better.
Colombe are in their fifth campaign in a role as an elite one Club and are expected to compete with 20 Clubs in the expanded championship.
