Colombe Dja FC Dump Sangmelima due to
Cameroon League 1 side Colombe of Dja and Lobo, have taken a final decision to leave Sangmelima and stop hosting opponents in the South regional capital following a run of bad results at home this season.
The communication boss of the club, Willy Nyate, told kick442.com that the decision has been taken to protect the interest of the club moving forward.
Colombe have not won a game at home this season.The club currently have a bad run of 1 goal scored and 3 defeats in four home matches this season with 8 of their 9 points registered away from Nkoovos.
The South Regional outfit got promoted to league one in 2017 but started hosting league games in the region’s Capital City in June last year. Comlombe Dja FC, have failed to replicate its form at home in the second half of last season, reason club officials say pushed them to settle on the decision of moving home games to Yaounde.
The club will host New Stars in their next game in Yaoundé and continue to play there till the end of the season.
