The Kenyan Football Federation in a letter, has announced that an a contract termination with coach Sebastien Migne on mutual consent has been agreed.
Coach Migne took the Harambee Stars to their first Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt in fifteen years.
The letter also stated that they have also ”agreed on a settlement for the coach over a period of time.”
The FA in the letter, thanked the gaffer for his achievement with the team and wished him all the best in his future endeavours.
Migne while speaking with goal.com added that he was happy to have helped the Harambee Stars qualify for the 32nd Africa Cup of Nation edition in Egypt where the team was eliminated in the group stage.
”The initial objective of qualifying Harambee Stars to Afcon 2019 has been achieved, it is better for me to set another professional challenge. And for the FKF to operate new motivational levers to confirm its progression. Kenya will remain a greater chapter in my life and such a wonderful country.”
Migne also made it known that he was proud of the what he had achieved with the Kenyan National Team.
”The recognition and appointment for a new technical bench is already underway and the team to steer the Harambee Stars forward will be announced shortly” The FSK said.
