The head coach of Azam FC, Johannes Franciscus van der Pluijm has revealed that the attitudes of Ghanaian clubs towards coaches are far below comparing to what happens in Tanzania.
According to the former Ashanti Gold and Berekum Chelsea trainer, Tanzanians respect and appreciate top performing coaches but it is not the same in Ghana.
In his interview with Akoma FM in Kumasi, the Dutch tactician swiped at Ghanaian clubs especially on how they interfere in the affairs of coaches.
“Tanzania football respect Coaches more than Ghana. They appreciate top performers than Ghana.
Some Ghanaian Clubs are fond of interference.” Coach van dar Pluijm said
He therefore said that he is not interested in coaching again in Ghana but may consider the technical director role.
“I am not interested in Coaching in Ghana again. I may consider Technical Directorship role”
The 71 year old Dutch who coached Ashgold, then Gold fields twice in 1998 to 2001 and 2004 to 2005 also had stint with Hearts of Lions, Kesben FC, Feyenoord Academy, Berekum Chelsea and SC Medeama all in Ghana.
