Young Boys Berne’s head coach Gerardo Seoane has clearly stated that the Club will be listening to offers for their star striker Jean-Pierre Nsamé this summer.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Kick442.com this Wednesday the coach was full of praises for the 38-goals forward who smashed all records with Young Boys Berne on their way to their title triumph.
“Jean-Pierre Nsamé has had an extraordinary season. He has really progress especially in terms of taking responsibility in the team. He is very physical, with an unbelievable ability in front of goal. He is very present in the penalty area and all the balls that comes, he puts them in the back of the net, thanks to his technic and strength”, Gerardo Seoane told kick442.com.
“Jean Pierre (Nsame) is a great personality, with a great character and mentality. He is also present and hard-working and put his all for the team. He is not egoistic. He always puts the team first, that’s what I like so much about him because it is a big human quality and above all he is very humble and I’m very certain that he will have a great career”.
Young Boys Bernes were recently crowned champions of the Swiss Super League, with Jean Pierre Nsame netting 32 goals in 32 league appearances, making him the League’s outright top scorer. So much speculations have surrounded the future of the 27_year_old at the Stade de Suisse Wankdorf, with reports linking the goal poacher with a move to England, France and most recently to Rangers FC in the Scottish premiership. Now Gerardo Seoane has confirmed that many clubs have showed much interest in the Cameroonian forward, but warns he will only leave if the right offer is in place.
“He has all the necessary qualities to go to a top league. He is ready, we are waiting for offers and we know that there are clubs that are interested in his services, but we will let Jean Pierre go just at the right price. He has a great value”.
The tactician also confirms the players desire to make a move out of the Stade de Suisse Wankdorf.
“Jean Pierre is ready to go if a club with a good project and in a big league comes. But if it doesn’t happen, we will be happy to keep him”.
Jean Pierre Nsame has been in scintillating form in the 2019_2020 campaign, and has won the admiration of many. Gerardo Seoane is not left out.
“I want to co graduate him for his performance in the league. He was a key player for us. He scored 32 goals and emerged the top scorer in the league and he made lots of sacrifices for the club. He had a great evolution and we’re very happy for him”.
With his season’s tally of 38 goals in 42 games in all competitions, Jean Pierre Nsame surpassed Young Boys Berne legend Seydou Doumbia’s 10-year record of 30 goals in a season and in the process bettered Samuel Eto’o’s 2008-2009 Cameroonian record of 30 goals in a season in Europe in the 21st century (becoming the highest Cameroonian scorer per season in a European top-flight Championship) and becomes the highest scoring African in the Swiss Super League.
Haven previously represented the colours of Angers and Amiens_SC, Nsame is ripe for the top league’s in Europe, and is definitely one of the ‘hottest potatoes’ in the transfer market.
