Festus Kuaban, head coach of the lone women’s team in the North West region Vision Sports FC Bamenda has taken a look at his last encounter with discontent in the Guinness Women Super league Championship
His first home game for the season against Renaissance Guider Saturday November 28, 2020 saw his girls swipe pass Renaissance and grabbed all three points from a lone goal by Fule Glory through a free-kick.
To the tactician and his penchant for the team, the victory was not up to expectation, and home advantage played on their psychology
“This home advantage gave them a little bit of latitude that is why we faced some difficulties during the game, but despite that I think the essential has been done.”
It was a tough encounter between both sides but determination was what gave the victory to Kuaban’s girls
The former National Polytechnic gaffer plans to return to their camp, evaluate his mistakes for a better matchday.
“We are going to sit together and look over what we did. Actually work during this game the way we wanted then we also look at the style of our opponent then we rebuild it and our next game we will see a different face of the game”
Vision Sports is yet to concede a single goal in this season’s run. The girls have a total of 7 points in 3 games. Two wins, and a draw.
