The head coach of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon Antonio Da Silva Oliveira Conceição has included two Cameroon-based players in a squad of 33 players to face Malawi in Douala and Maputo in two 2021 AFCON qualifiers clashes this month.

Goalkeeper Yannick Epane Litizi of Stade Renard of Melong and forward Aboubakari Sidiki of Union Sportive of Douala have earned their first call to the senior national team.

Epane has been an important part of Cameroon’s intermediate Lions team preparing for the 2020 CHAN competition in Cameroon and was captain of the local selection in a recent friendly against Congo Republic.

Both players joined a squad of players picked from across the world with Raja Casablanca’s Ngah Fabrice returning to the den after a while just like Allan Nyom of Getafe and Nicolas Nkoulou of Torino whose return is particular giving he has been away from the Lions Den for three years.

Midfielders Onana Jean of Lille , Samuel Oum Gwet of SCR Altach, Granada’s Yann Eteki Brice all get their first senior call ups.
