Lionesses in a family photo with a local selection

The head coach of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon Alain Djeumfa has invited 20 Lionesses to challenge Ethiopia on the 26th August in Addis Abeba.

The first leg round 2 Qualifiers fixture will be Cameroon’s first as the seek their way to the 2020 Olympic games in Tokyo.

The squad includes includes 6 abroad based players and 14 players based in Cameroon.

All the abroad based players with the exception of Farida Machia of SC Braga were at the just ended FIFA World Cup.

Machia is coming back to the team for the first time in 3 years as her last Cap was registered under coach Enoh Ngachu in the build up to the 2016 AWCON in Cameroon.
