Egyptian Premier League outfit Ceramica Cleopatra FC have sacked coach Haitham Shaaban.
The decision was made on Wednesday following the Club’s latest defeat to Misr El-Makkasa in an Egyptian cup game.
41-year old Haitham Shaaban masterminded the Club’s promotion to the top-flight championship in the previous season but has struggled to get it right in the highest level of Egyptian football.
The 2-1 defeat in the round of 16 fixture gave the perfect opportunity for management to get rid of the manager.
Coach Haitham managed six wins, seven draws and five defeats in 18 league games as the Club’s trainer.
Ambitious Ceramica Cleopatra FC are currently 8th on the log in the 18 clubs Egyptian championship despite making a number of top-notch signings upon promotion including the recruitment of Cameroon international Ngah Gael Fabrice from Raja Casablanca.
Ngah and mates are eagerly waiting for management to name a replacement before their match-day 19 league game against National Bank on April 30th.
