Africa’s shot put Champion, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi threw a Season’s Best (SB) of 20.65m in the men’s Shot Put at the American Track League Meet at Randall Tyson Track Centre.
He finished 2nd behind Ryan Crouser who broke the indoor World Record (WR) with a massive 22.82m heave.
Enekwechi who had started slowly in his first attempt made a throw of 19.23m in the Men’s Shot Put event to place in him in 4th position.
His second throw was an improvement of the first as the Nigerian hurled a 20.16m to move up the log to third.
In his third attempt, he made it 20.65m and placed himself second behind USA’S Ryan Crouser who was first with a throw of 22.82m (WR).
The third throw was enough to see Enekwechi finish the shot put event of the American Track League in second.
