French Women’s Ligue 2 outfit Yzeure Nord Allier has confirmed the signing of Legendary Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon captain, Christie Manie Patience, on a one-year-deal, can report per the Clubs announcement this Wednesday July 1.

The emblematic defender [widely considered as the female Rigobert Song] joins the ambitious French Club from rivals AS Nancy Loraine. Her move ends her four-year stay at Nancy, having joined the Club in 2016 from Romanian side Olimpia Cluj.

The former FK Minsk center half with an over 15 year experience in the beautiful game leaves Nancy on the backdrop of a satisfactory season in which the Club finished 5th on the log.

The 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup 16th finalist is certainly a defender to count on.

Yzeure ended the CoronaVirus pandemic punctured season on the fourth spot, just above Manie’s Nancy.

The arrival of the former Canon Yaounde defender may just be the required spring in the step for the Club to charge towards the title and promotion next season.

Manie is 36, but still good, and doing well, as justified by her 15 appearances from which she even scored last season.

The intelligent sweeper with an eye for goal has won 73 caps for Cameroon.

She holds the record as the only woman to score for the Central African nation in four consecutive African Women’s Cup of Nations tournament.
