Christian Bekamenga played for Cameroon's Indomitable Lions in 2016

Only a handful of Cameroonian strikers of the 21st century have shown flashes of brilliance and conquered several continents significantly in their adventurous careers.

Christian Bekamenga Bekamengo Aymard is no exception to this extraordinary exploits. His remarkable goal scoring prowess has inspired most uprising forwards aim for.

The 34-year-old professional footballer who was born in Yaoundé on May 9,2020 played for over 14 clubs in Malaysia, Indonesia,France, Turkey in his career.

He scored an impressive 17 goal in 20 appearances for Negeri Sembilan and Persib Bandung in the Malaysia and Indonesia Leagues respectively. He was also the architect of a 20 goal per season in 2004 and record 26 goals for Negeri Sembilan in 2005.

The daring center forward was transferred to Nantes,France due to his brilliance and outrageous finishes. Even when swarmed by defenders,the former Metz striker provided plenty of fluency in his games and secured his side’s vital wins in emphatic fashion.

In 2015 during the summer transfer Christian Bekamengo moved to Troyes AC but reportedly joined Turkish side Kardemir Karabukspor within a month. He was also among the record 22 players signed by Elazigspor on transfer deadline within an hour.

Despite his excellent form at club level,Christian Bekamengo had little or no attention at national level.

However, he helped Cameroon’s Olympic Lions qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympic in Beijing,China.
