2017 AFCON winner Christian Bassogog has donated 10 Millions FCFA as support to troubled Cameroonians in the the Coronavirus hit city of Wuhan.
Media reports on the gesture emerged this Tuesday and Hernan Jianye forward’s entourage confirmed the gesture.
Wuhan, capital city of the Hubei province in China, has been gained global attention being epicenter of the coronavirus epidemic.
The city records over 200 Cameroonians quarantined Wuhan which happens to be the capital city of Hebei.
So far the Cameroonians remain out of danger.
Kick442.com understands the Hernan Jianye forward is currently in Yaoundé-Cameroon as he awaits an improvement in the situation before returning to his Chinese super league club.
Last week, the government of Cameroon through its ministry of finance announced they were sending the 50 Millions FCFA as support to Cameroonians in China.
The deadly desease has claimed over 2000 lives and close to 73000 cases of the infection have been recorded so far.
Bassogog’s kind gesture will certainly be a trending event.
