Cameroon international Christopher Maurice Wooh has left Racing Club Lens to join rivals Stade Rennais, kick442.com can report.
The 20-year old defender has signed a four-year contract at Rennes to replace Loïc Badé who left for Nottingham Forest.
The defender arrives Rennes in place of Sinaly Diomandé who had accepted to join the club before declining the offer afterwards.
Wooh will compete against Joseph Peter Rodon on loan from Tottenham and Arthur Nicolas Theate to get a starter role under coach Bruno Génésio who sanctioned his recruitment.
The ex Nancy sweeper leaves Lens after just one season in which he made just 21 appearances for the first team.
Wooh is a full Cameroon international who opted for his country of origin over France and made his debut in June 2022, against Burundi in the 2022 AFCON qualifier game in Dar Es Salaam.
