Bayern Munich of Cameroon international Eric Choupo Moting will face Mexican side Tigres in the final of the 2021 ongoing Club world cup on Thursday in Qatar.
A brace from lethal finisher Robert Lewandowski in Monday’s semi-final against Al Ahly earned the appointment for Choupo and mates.
Thursday’s encounter will be an avenue for Bayern to add another trophy to their trophy cabinet though it promises to be tough for the European champions facing the first ever CONCACAF club in the final.
Choupo is on the verge of adding his name to the list of Cameroonians to have won the Club world cup with the likes of Samuel Eto’o and Joel Matip as previous winners.
