French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco have manifested interest in signing 31-year-old Indomitable Lions of Cameroon forward Maxim Eric Choupo-Moting.
Reports from multiple sources in France have it that the Club is willing to offer the skipper of the five-times African Champions on a two-year-deal at a fee of €1 Million Euro.
The former Mainz winger is almost certain to end his two-year stay at the Parc de Prince, having joined PSG in the summer of 2018 from then relegated Premier League outfit Stoke City.
In all honesty, coach Thomas Tuchel has masterminded Choupo-Moting’s stay at the Club but surprisingly denied him regular involvement in the first team.
Choupo-Moting scored six goals and provided one assist in five starts out of the 18 games he featured in all competitions for PSG in the just-ended season.
PSG signed Choupo-Moting in the summer of 2018 from relegated Stoke City and have since denied regular football to the 49-capped captain of Cameroon.
He will leave PSG with two French Ligue 1 titles plus a pair of French Cups and a UEFA Champions League runners-up medal.
Choupo-Moting’s father and representative Just Choupo-Moting did tell Kick442.com less than two weeks ago that the player’s future is opened to all possibilities
