After a difficult stay in the French capital since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, Indomitable Lions’ captain Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting has finally opted to leave France and return to the country of his birth, Germany.
Choupo-Moting has opted to return to his native Hamburg and spend the confinement period.
The PSG forward decided with his family and loved ones to return to Hamburg.
In Germany the measures put in place to fight against the spread of the Coronavirus are more relaxed at the moment compared to what is obtainable in France.
Choupo-Moting is following the foot-steps of other international players at PSG like Thiago Silva, Neymar, Edison Cavani and Mauro Icardi who also returned to their countries to face the challenging times imposed by the deadly virus.
Football like most other sporting activities are halted in most countries in the world as the entire planet battles to curb the spread of the dreaded Covid-19.
