Indomitable of Lions Cameroon and Bayern Munich forward Eric Choupo-Moting has scored his second goal in the prestigious UEFA champions league as a Bayern Munich player.
The 31-year old Cameroon international climbed off the bench to score one of Bayern’s goals in a 2-1 home win against Italian side Lazio.
Robert Lewandowski gave Bayern a 32nd minute lead from the penalty spot before Choupo-Moting who started the game as a substitute came on to score from his first touch in the 73rd minute of the game.
The goal is the forward’s second in five UEFA champions league matches this season.
Bayern are through to the quarter-finals of the competition, making Choupo-Moting one of very few Cameroonians whose Club is still in the competition.
Bayern will be in Friday’s quarter-finals draw as they continue their quest to retain the title which will be equal to a first success in the competition he was runners-up in last season with French Ligue 1 championship side PSG.
