Chinwendu Ihezuo continues to impress at the Chinese Women’s Super League side, Guangdong Meizhou Hakka as she scored her third goal of the season to help her team to a 0-2 away win against Henan Jianye on Saturday.
Chen Xiubing scored the opening goal of the game for the visitors, Guangdong Meizhou Hakka in the 58th minute.
Chinwendu Ihezuo added the second goal for Guangdong Meizhou Hakka in the 78th minute.
The goal took her tally to three for Guangdong Meizhou Hakka, the same goal as Wuhan Jiangda’s Temwa Chawinga and five goals behind the league’s top goal scorer, Zambian international and Wuhan Jiangda’s Tabitha Chawinga.
Guangdong Meizhou Hakka occupies the seventh position on the ten-team Chinese Women’s Super League table with 12 points from ten games and will next play Shandong SL on June 8, 2022.
