Indomitable Lions of Cameroon head coach Antonio will donate varied gifts to street children during and after a gala game this weekend in Yaounde.
“The national and international sports press are informed that the coach of the Indomitable Lions Antonio Conceiçao, sponsor of the Gala day of street children organized by VISION SPORT CLUB will personally chair this Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 10 a.m. at the annex 2 stadium of the stadium Omnisport de Yaoundé a Gala match in honor of street children followed by the presentation of gifts to said children,” a release from the organizing committee read.
According to the head of the organizing committee of the event Gerard Elle, the 48-years old Portuguese lead trainer of the five times champions of Africa believes the event is an opportunity for him to meet the Cameroonians in the streets whose support is key to the success of his team.
Antonio Conceiçao replaced Clarence Seedorf late last year and has been a success since then.
The former defender for various Clubs in Portugal has won three of the six games in his era and recorded three draws in that time.
Antonio Conceiçao’s management has made the Lions more selfish at the back and very fluent in the final third, conceding once and scoring seven goals.
His move is certainly going to leave smiles on many faces.
