Charity Adule renews contract with SD Eibar

Former Falconets player, Charity Ogbenyealu Adule has renewed her contract with the Spanish Iberdorla side, SD Eibar until 2022, can report.

The 26-year-old player completed her medical on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. SD Eibar unveiled her contract renewal on the club’s official Twitter handle and website on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, after the completion of the signing of 2018 CAF Women’s Footballer of the Year and South African, Thembi Kgathlana.

The Nigerian forward will complete her second campaign in the gunsmith team
until 2022. The 26-year-old Nigerian player arrived at the armory club last season from Bllk Kazygurt, the champion team of the Kazakh league, and the 2020/2021 season will be her second season with the team.

Adule has played for Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL sides, Rivers Angels, and Bayelsa Queens before moving to Kazakhstan. She scored 57 goals in 40 games for Bayelsa Queens.

With BIIK Kazygurt, Adule won five league titles and helped her side reach the Round of 16 of the 2016-2017 UEFA Women’s Champions League where she scored against Wexford Youths, Gintra Universitetas, Verona, Paris Saint-Germain.

She has represented Nigeria at the 2010 and 2012 FIFA U-20 World Cup. She was also part of the SD Eibar side that gained promotion to the Spanish Iberdorla.
