Sources in Zambia have told kick442.com the countries home-based team will engaged in a series of international friendlies as part of their preparations for the April’s 2020 CHAN competition in Cameroon.
The local Chipoolopolo under the guidance of Coach Micho have will begin real business in preparations for the 16 nations tournament this month.
Zambia will face Malawi, Uganda, Mali, Rwanda and Ethiopia in different venues before traveling to Cameroon for the start of the competition on the 4th of next month.
They begin their warm up games on the 11th March in Lusaka against Malawi before traveling to Kampala to face fellow participants Uganda on the 17th and Mali two days after.
They round up their preparations either in Addis Abeba against Ethiopia or in Kigali against CHAN-bound Rwanda.
It will be Zambia’s fourth appearance in the competition.
Zambia have been drawn in Pool D and face Guinea, Namibia and Tanzania in the group stage of the competition.
